This week, I visited Myron's classroom and (with his permission) videotaped his biology class (on a random day, at a random time). I chose Myron because a couple of you had mentioned wanting to observe his class so I though this may be a great way to do so. Also, since we'll be picking it apart, it will be easier to do (at least this first time) without the observee in the room.
In your team meetings (8th grade this week), I'd like you to view and discuss this video (feel free to pre-view it now). What is he doing to engage his students? What could he do better? Pick it apart and let each other know what you think. He'd be open to any suggestions you have.
